I thought you broke this down beautifully, Sofia.

It’s interesting how often we explain someone else’s opportunity by saying they were simply “in the right place at the right time.” From the outside, it can look almost random. But when you look more closely, there are often meaningful differences in how people prepared, showed up, and stayed engaged long before the timing aligned.

I’ve always appreciated the saying, “The harder I work, the luckier I get,” and your framework feels like a thoughtful expansion of that idea. When you’ve built skills, developed relationships, clarified what you care about, and demonstrated that you’re reliable, those moments of alignment seem to happen more often. What looks like luck is often preparation meeting opportunity.

Really well articulated. Thank you for putting structure around something that’s usually explained away too simply.
